Deepal Shaw, Born on February 21st 1986, in Mumbai, Deepal had a deep desire to enter the showbiz. With almost no connections in Bollywood, she began her career with a few modeling assignments.

Soon she was offered a number of music videos, which she gladly accepted. She starred in the music video “Kabhi Aar Kabhi Paar” which shot this lissome lass to fame. She was noticed as a fresh hot face of tinsel town, who was sure to rule the glamour industry for a long time.

In the year 2005, Deepal debuted in film maker Mahesh Bhatt’s provocative film “Kalyug” along with Kunal Khemu, Emraan Hashmi and Amrita Singh. This film exposed the truth about the existence of pornography which is a $56 billion industry today and its adverse effects on innocent victims. Deepal’s character of an earthquake victim and eventually a porn star was well appreciated by every viewer.

Often nicknamed “Babydoll”, Deepal is all geared up for her second venture titled “Tumse” opposite critically acclaimed actor Irffan Khan. This film revolves around two characters, Deepal and Irffan, whose lives change due to the changing circumstances that life has in store for them.

On the personal front, Deepal is a focused girl. A self confessed possessive and passionate person, she has never worried about being stereotyped. She loves experimenting with her roles and wants to be associated with meaningful films. In spite of having good looks and a great body, Deepal wishes to be remembered the most for her talent as an actress and not just as an item girl.
